LGCM About Us

In the heart of Kensington, this boutique residence consists of 30 stylishly designed serviced apartments, offering the very best in luxury living.

The property welcomes guests via large projecting open porches, offering the choice of one- and two-bedroom apartments with bright windows, some of which look out onto the leafy manicured garden and others toward the iconic Victorian terraces at the front of the property. Three contemporary colour themes adorn the apartments, Racing Green, Luxurious Royal Red and Cool Neutral Equestrian; each one expressing the quintessentially British history of the local area whilst showcasing the very best in stylish modern design.

Our History

The iconic property spans 32-38 Lexham Gardens and dates to the mid-Victorian era (1875-84), a time of prosperity following the industrial revolution. Many buildings of this architectural period are known for their classical style, but this period also saw the revival of medieval Gothic architectural elements and those found across Europe.

Completed by two different builders over the 9-year period, William Ashfold and William Douglas, Lexham Gardens by Cheval Maison has retained its iconic Classical-Italianate style whilst displaying slight variation, making it a valuable part of the Lexham Gardens Conservation area, developed by the third Lord Kensington.

The fashionable area quickly became known as a prime location for the wealthy elite after Kensington Palace (previously known as Nottingham House) was purchased and renovated by William III and retains its reputation today as a desired upmarket location for residents and visitors alike, with many high-end shops, restaurants and notably London’s iconic galleries and museums within walking distance to the Maison.

In 2021 Lexham Gardens by Cheval Maison joined Cheval Collection as the first Maison property in the Cheval Collection portfolio, a luxury serviced apartment operator with properties in London, Edinburgh and Dubai.
