THE UNICORN RIDES NORTH!
We are beyond excited to welcome two new Residences to the Cheval Collection officially from the 1st July 2020. The two Residences are both located in Scotland’s historic capital, and each is just as quirky and individual as the eight properties in London.
After more than a year of discussions, the partnership with The Edinburgh Grand and Old Town Chambers means this superb collection of 100 apartments (50 in each building) will come under the Cheval umbrella. Although the restrictions around the covid-19 crisis mean that both Residences are only currently accepting stay from key workers only, this has given us a some extra time to prepare for when we can officially fling open our doors to the wider public.
Led by General Manager Gavin MacLennan, the existing Lateral City team taking care of all the apartments in Edinburgh will continue in place to welcome new and returning guests. The team in Edinburgh will also be able to call on some additional support from the London group office, including with sales, marketing, human resources, finance, maintenance, IT and any operational needs.
The main change guests will notice is the appearance of Cheval’s logo with the unicorn motif on their booking confirmations and at the top of a new website replacing the existing Lateral City pages. The Edinburgh Grand becomes Cheval The Edinburgh Grand, and Old Town Chambers becomes Cheval Old Town Chambers. There will also be some changes to the current social media accounts and we recommend fans of Edinburgh follow @ChevalCollection to stay up to date with the latest.
