Like many of us at Cheval Collection, you love to travel, to explore, and you also enjoy staycations as they give you the chance to really explore a city. If you are craving some time away from your primary home, today we come bearing good news! We will be sharing some of the things that you can do in London – and though not everywhere is open, you are still able to enjoy what ‘s on offer, with added boundaries to put your safety first.
For the London dwellers who previously haven’t explored local attractions, now is the perfect time to discover more of your London neighborhoods. The city is rich with historical buildings, each with a unique story to tell and there’s plenty to discover that you might not have known about before.
Ride a bicycle or a take a walk at the Royal Parks
Some of the Royal Parks in London are within walking distance from Cheval Residences, meaning you can avoid using public transport and remain at a 2-metre distance from members of the public. Above all, take advantage of the things you can discover on your walk (an added bonus in the sunshine). Each area of London is so unique that every step you take will only help you see more of the city that you would not get to see if you were to take the tube.
If you are in a mood for a park that is slightly further away but wouldn’t mind a scenic bicycle ride across the city, then choose Greenwich or Richmond park. Visit this website to learn more about Santander bicycles and how to go about hiring one.
All of the Royal Parks remain open, however, everyone must follow the guidelines to ensure the safety of themselves and those around them. Please follow the government advice and respect the given guidelines to help make London a safe place to explore during these times.
Top restaurants, historical buildings and the environment makes up a good city to remember – new tastes can help you create a memory of a location. Although these restaurants are open for takeaway and delivery, why not grab and go, enjoying your take away from your balcony, in your garden or in a park near you?
Due to the changes in the opening times during COVID-19, please give restaurants a call before you visit to ensure that the opening times match your search.
Restaurants that are open in City of London
In the light of COVID-19, Borough Market remains open for your essentials. The market is open from Monday to Saturday with the usual trading hours using the concept of come, shop and leave. Social distancing measures have been put in place while you shop to ensure safety for both shoppers and staff.
